The inspiration for True Legacy came from a deep desire and longing for art to speak to me like it did when I was a child. The art on packages from toy lines in the 80's appeared to be organic real paintings that sparked the imagination and put us in a world where anything could happen. Over the years technology has transferred from that organic medium to a more mechanical medium - this creates a distance.

At least it does in my mind and those around me that are of equal age so I decided to do something about it. I asked around and I was able to get some help. The people who I got to help were very excited to be involved in this company.

True Legacy is made up of a team of creative people with unique skills and a deep appreciation for art, toys and pop culture. 

Travis is an artist. 

Sam and Nick are both engineers.

Zach is a construction worker. 

I chose the name True Legacy because I love the definition of both words. “True” meaning the objective standard by which we measure all reality and “Legacy” in the context of what the original artist meant to leave behind including what we hope as a company to leave behind in the future. My heart is to dedicate everything I have to making sure that we honor the absolute standard of what was originally intended. Maybe by speaking to the original artist or rendering a detail for detail replica in a 3D format.
